Queensland currently has over $250 billion dollars worth of projects either under study, committed to or under construction. These projects encompass soft and hard infrastructure necessary to meet the state's growing population of approximately 1500 people per week.

Projects include mining, energy, road, transport infrastructure, hospitals, residential complexes, primary industry, ports, marina’s and tourism.

Projects Queensland 2008 Issue 27, including the CD and map, were released on Tuesday 14 October at the Major Projects Conference 2008.

The publication outlines individual projects in Queensland valued at more than $30 million. The projects are listed in six categories —Queensland Government projects, projects under study, projects committed, projects under construction, projects completed during the period April 2007 to June 2008 and Commonwealth Government and university-led projects.

The project information includes a brief description of the project, location, timelines, employment figures, project value and developer details.

Projects can be located by projects stage (under study, committed to, under construction, completed or government), by developer or alphabetically.
