The projects listed in Projects Queensland 2008 Issue 27 are divided into six categories:

Queensland Government projects

Queensland Government projects currently under study, committed to proceed or under construction.

Projects under construction

Projects which commenced construction in the year up until June 2008.

Projects committed

Projects with a definite commitment to proceed.

Projects under study

Projects which are under evaluation to determine economic viability to proceed. Although a commitment to proceed may not occur in the immediate future, sufficient analysis has been undertaken to enable rapid development once that decision has been made.

Projects completed

Projects that were completed or began operating in the period April 2007 to June 2008.

Commonwealth Government and university-led projects

Commonwealth Government and university-led projects currently under study, committed to proceed or under construction.

The map includes projects with an estimated cost over $500 million.

The CD includes an electronic version of the publication, the map and a searchable database of the projects.
