On behalf of the Coordinator-General, the Department of Infrastructure and Planning's Compliance Unit undertakes compliance activities in relation to projects assessed through the State Development and Public Works Organisation Act 1971.

A draft Strategic Compliance Plan outlining our approach to undertaking compliance and enforcement activities was released for public comment in May 2009.  Comments were taken into account and a final Strategic Compliance Plan ( 78 KB) is now available.   

The Coordinator General has also released audit guidelines ( 136 KB) to provide proponents with information about complying with audit reporting requirements when imposed as a condition.  These guidelines will assist proponents when engaging an auditor to complete an audit, and provide a suggested format for the audit report.
