The Department of Infrastructure and Planning is currently reviewing its sponsorship commitments and practice.

Information on the department's new sponsorship process, criteria and eligibility will be published by 30 January 2010 and apply to all sponsorships for 2010.

The department had previously required that all sponsorship proposals be submitted no less than six months in advance of the activity. As such the department has received and considered proposals for sponsorship for activities to May 2010 and will consider no further proposals for activity in that period.
