The Industry Taskforce is a key mechanism for linking government with industry.
Chaired by the Department of Infrastructure and Planning, the taskforce reinforces the role of industry and unions as key partners with government in successful delivery of the infrastructure program.
Members of the taskforce include:

- Department of Education Training and the Arts
- Australian Workers Union
- Queensland Council of Unions
- Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union
- Infrastructure Association of Queensland/Macquarie Bank
- Queensland Major Contractors Association/Thiess
- Civil Contractor Federation/Seymour-Whyte
- Australian Asphalt Pavements Association/Boral Asphalt
- Cement Concrete and Aggregates Australia/Wagner Investments
- Association of Consulting Engineers Australia/KBR/Halliburton.
