Due to machinery-of-government changes within Queensland Government the Planning Information and Forecasting Unit (PIFU) has been relocated from the Department of Infrastructure and Planning to Queensland Treasury.  

PIFU provides demographics and planning information which helps inform decision-making by government and the private sector.
