The initial Drought Contingency Report released in July 2006 described the proposed drought contingency projects to be overseen by the Water Infrastructure Project Board. Projects included:
The report is held by the Coordinator-General and summarises initiatives that are being implemented to secure existing and future water supplies in South East Queensland. When legislation relating to a particular water project is developed, it may direct readers to the Drought Contingency Report for more details on the scope and purpose of the project. The Drought Contingency Report is updated whenever the implementation of a particular water project is affected by new or amended legislation.
