Application
  • Form 1: development application
  • Form 2 : request to change or modify an existing approval.

These forms apply across the state regardless of:

  • the nature of the proposed development
  • the location of the proposed development
  • the entity acting as assessment.

Templates are available for when owner’s consent is required. Refer to IDAS Implementation Note No 4 for more information on owner's consent.

Completion

It is recommended that applicants complete the intuitive eform versions of the forms where possible. The eform reduce completion time by ensuring that only the questions relative to the proposal are presented.

Adobe Reader version 7 or higher is required to use the eforms. It can be downloaded free from the Adobe website.

Online lodgment of applications is not yet available. When complete, eforms must be printed and manually lodged with the assessment manger. Eforms can be saved locally and reopened for updating before lodgment.

Static PDF versions of the forms are also available. These must be printed and all questions completed manually.

Amended forms

A 20 business day transition period has been set to enable the development industry to adjust to the amended IDAS application forms. The transition period is from Monday 3 March 2008 to Tuesday 1 April 2008.

During this period applicants are encouraged to begin using the amended versions (dated 3 March 2008). Pervious versions (dated 3 September 2007) will also be accepted during this period. From Wednesday 2 April 2008 the previous versions will expire and should no longer be accepted by the assessment manager.

The previous transitional period ended on 29 February 2008. Previous versions for that transitional period (in the old format prior to September 2007) should no longer be accepted.

Hard copies

Hard copies of the IDAS forms are not available from the department. Hard copies may be available from:
