Your level of compliance with the Fire Safety Standard can be self-assessed using checklists for small, medium and large buildings.

Contact your local council for assistance with fire safety compliance assessment. Councils may use the Notice of Compliance template for issue of compliance notices under MP 2.1 of the Queensland Development Code.

Three checklists are available for compliance assessment. Use the guidelines to determine the floor area of your building, then use the checklist for that size building only.
